I've recently worked in a school setting where I got to really focus on the importance of fine motor skill acquisition to feel successful in and out of school. When I’m not at work, you can catch me hanging out with my family at home or at a park, watching crime or cooking shows, or tapping into my hobby of family photography!

I chose to work at PlayRx because of their vision and passion for empowering and equipping children through play-based therapy. The owner and other therapists here really love their jobs and the kiddos we treat. You can tell they put their everything into each session and have the kids best interest at heart! I also enjoy that, not only do we serve children at our clinic, but we also push into the daycares in Sherwood and NLR, as well as work alongside teachers and parents, to help generalize therapy-learned skills into the classroom and daily routines.

I have always had a calling to work for children. I knew I wanted to work in Pediatrics from the start even before I chose this profession. What I love about being a speech-language pathologist working in pediatrics the most is the play-based intervention. It excites me to think about new activities for therapy and ways to enjoy the work we do with our patients.
